Our history
Established in 2023, the Advocacy Group for African Youth at the United Nations (AOYA-UN) began with a powerful vision: to empower African youth and amplify their voices globally. Since our founding, we have remained steadfast in our commitment to dismantling barriers and ensuring active engagement of African youth on the international platform. From organizing advocacy summits to forging strategic alliances, every effort by AOYA-UN has been a deliberate stride towards effecting tangible change.
